Rooster having a preference to one particular hen

Is there any way one can stop a Rooster from always "mounting" one particular hen? Her feathers are in bad shape where he grabs on, and it looks like she might be starting to bleed. He is a very good protector of all the hens and provider,but prefers her to the others. Is there some kind of ointment or something I can put on her so she is less desirable to him and he will go to one of the other hens? P.S. She follows him everywhere, but doesn't realize how terrible she's looking.

Search "Moodene" or "chicken saddle" on the blue bar search feature above. Get her a saddle to protect her and she'll appreciate it.

Yes, the poor lady needs a saddle or maybe a separation from her rooster to give her a break.
