This guy just showed up at our place and slowly worked his way into the flock. The best that I can come up with is a bantam Dorking but my understanding is that they have 5 toes. He is silver white neck with a black/emerald green body and white tail feathers, nice big red comb and his legs are greyish with some feathers on the outside running vertical on the leg(they are very firm) When I get a pic I will post it. What other breeds should i be looking at for identification?
some people have mentioned a Phoenix but don't those have very distictive long Tails? After looking at several pics of these birds the only thing that dosen't jive is the tail on our guy. Please keep the suggestions comming
