Hello!
We are brand new to raising chickens and only wanted to start out with hens, but ended up with a rooster. I'm not sure what kind he is. He is black and pretty large. (Well, compared to the hens). He is 5 months old and has been fed all organic food his whole life. Please let me know if you have a home for him. I looked into selling or giving him away on craigslist, but I got the feeling that people were buying and selling roosters for fighting, and although I don't want a rooster right now, I don't want to give him to someone who will do that with him.
