I had bought two pullets and one of them magically turned into a rooster
( you know how that goes), so as I could not keep it due to where live, I gave it to a friend who was looking for one for her hens. Problem, those hens beat up that rooster and they have to keep him in a separate pen and have done so for a few weeks now. What is the best way to integrate a young roo with a bunch of mean hens? Can it happen or do they have to be raised together? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
