Would anyone have any ideas why my rooster appears frustrated. Ive tried different foods besides his normal food and there is vitamins in the water. Ive bathed him and put some mite powder on him today He seems relaxed when I hold him. He appears to eat and drink ok.
I am wondering if his habits are recognizable to other users.
Thank you.

Give him a good once over. Be sure to check his eyes as the crests are sometimes getting in there causing irritation.

Is he always that twitchy or just when its windy?

He may be frustrated at the lack of any bugs and the annoying wind.

aye yes I have just put a sand bath in there, he has not used it yet, maybe that will help. Maybe the weather isnt helping. I brought him in for a while and he was calm when i held him I just put him outside back with his mates and so far things are a bit calm. I guess if its mites it might take a while for the powder to work.
Thanks for your thoughts and help :D

Oh lol maybe thats another option ? haha. Im not sure if the other ones are hens or roosters yet they are about 17 weeks old and Ive still not guessed yet. lol
:D

:lau...He is not frustrated...
He is Tidbiting to the Hens and showing them things to eat. He is being a good Rooster.
I second that!
Also, the crest makes him appear more "fidgety" than he really is. My Sultans are that way. Crests bobble and bounce and make the roo appear somewhat spastic when he really is not.
