My 1 yr old Barred Rock has been limping for about tw weeks. He is frequently kicking the hurt foot backwards like he is trying to shake something off it. He seems to be getting worse. We have had snow recently and he choose to stand on it sometimes rather than on straw with the other chickens. He is kind of a loner. I dont see anything unusual about the foot or leg. I can't stand to see him suffer but I don't want to put him down if it will get better. Any ideas on what it might be or how to treat it?
