rooster lost his crow ?!?

Every morning I heard our neighbors rooster crow then Jr our BO Rooster would crow back at him.... for the last 3 days or so I havent heard JR crow... (neighbor still crows though) I cant figure out why??

he is eating and acting normal...loving his hens as usual... but no crowing... anyone ever have their rooster quit crowing? Dh says not to worry bout it but it still seems strange... I really enjoyed listening to the two roosters "talking" to each other every morning with my coffee.

I think he doesn't feel quite himself, for whatever reason, even though he acts normally. It's so hard to tell with birds when they're off. I'd just keep an eye on him in case there is a problem brewing.
