Sometimes the case but not always..I would keep the underdog, they generally make better flock leaders. Overly dominant roos in my experience turn out to be jerks in every sense of the word. Just something to think about.![]()

All I meant is that Cockerel that is breeding Hens and not human aggressive might be a better Choice..He already is protecting and liking the ladies..Other Cockerel is putting flock and him out of wack...Nope, not always just in my experience. I'm sure many people have done well with very dominant roos, but i have not. Every dominant roo I've ever had had two modes crazy and i really want to see the inside of your crockpot. Once in a very small while they would have a little clarity and then *poof* back to being a jerk.![]()
