I looked this morning to spot my Rooster kicking around the shavings and nesting in a nesting box. He allows the Hens to go in, and is not being territorial in the least. He went out when I looked for eggs and I haven't spotted him since. Any reason why he would do that? Or is he just getting comfy?

My roosters do this too...one of them especially tries to make it comfy for the hens and calls them over to it. Its so sweet. lol
