Hello,
I could not find ang threads about this so i am writing here. I have a bantam rooster who is around 5 years old. He has gotten sick!! :( He is heavy breathing, sneezing coughing and shaking his head. He does not have much of an appetite either!! Recently i noticed he almost lost his crow, the pitch changed everyday, and now he barely has a voice to crow. I am doubting it could be that he caught a cold or respiratory infection. Its easter holidays here in Norway so i cant take him to the avianvet. I have isolated him, taken him inside with water that has some bronchi protect tonic and i am also dabbing some vetrx on his comb, wattles, beak and wingpits. I mashed some bread in water, he was not a fan. I gave him boiled egg yesterday and he liked that! Today he has only eaten grapes, he is barely interested in wet mushed feed. I am staring to get worried sick, his comb is still bright red, no bubbly eyes. Just heavy breathing constantly. Please help i truly appreciate it!
