He/she is a barred rock. It's legs were messed up at birth but it's living strong. He/she is very curious and is about 3 1/2 weeks old. I have more pictures if you need it.

Aww..what a cutie pie! It is a bit early to sex chicks at this age. Wait a few weeks until he grows a bit and we should be able to tell the sex of this chick.

Welcome to BYC!!! Could we get a shot of the face and comb? 3 weeks is a bit young to tell gender for sure, but we can try! You can also post this in the "What breed/gender is this?" section for better answers :)

Here is one of its head. It is developing very slowly. I think it's because it has had leg deformities since coming out of the egg. I forced fed her for about 2 weeks.

I'm thinking pullet at the moment, because my single combed boys usually have bigger, pinker combs by 3 weeks, but post again in a week or two to find out for sure :)
I can tell you care a lot for this chick, good job on nursing it to health! :)
