Rooster or hen?

We got this chicken Easter and it was only a few days old. We are struggling to figure out if this is a hen or a rooster. It doesn't make much noise yet and it's comb is small and pink. No Spurs yet that we can see, but the tail is making us wonder. We were told they are ameracanas, but we aren't 100% on that.

She is a pullet. There's enough reddish feathers in her neck that I am thinking more likely Easter Egger rather than Ameraucana.
