Rooster or hen

I believe I have two barred rock chickens. My question is this. . . is one a rooster? The comb on one is very different than the other. They are 17 weeks old and I ordered them as a brown egg layers from TSC.

Both are female. Expect eggs reasonably soon!

Both are pullets. One is just maturing more rapidly than the other.

You should expect eggs in a month or two, they are both pullets. The one with the redder crown is just getting closer to laying.
