Rooster Pecking At Back Of Neck On Hens

Is there something that I can do to prevent the back of the Hens neck from being excessively pecked at? I see bare skin on two of my 4 Buff Orphs. The Rooster is doing it I'm sure.

He is doing it because that is how they mount the hens{you problably knew that} the only way to fix it is to keep them seperate

Hens kept with a rooster usually do not remain in 'mint condition' w/r/t their plumage, alas

If it's any consolation, roos usually seem to get more adept as they mature and gain practice, so in some cases they go easier on the hens as their balance and coordination improve.
