My rooster is roughly 2yrs old,how long are they able to still fertilize eggs? I know hens are usually 2yrs for laying eggs, but there are exceptions. But what about Roosters?

In my experience most roosters (unless heavily inbred) remain fertile throughout their lifetime. Some, especially extremely heavy birds, have problems breeding hens when they age because of mobility problems.

Two years of production for hens may apply to the high production birds including sex links, but many hens lay viable eggs throughout their lifetimes.

That's GREAT news! My rooster is a fullblood Americana and has been a extremely good and vigilant Rooster. I know he is getting the job done so to speak, because I have 2 of his offspring now @ 4 months old. And one happens to be a rooster. Thanks for the help.
