Last night my sister asked me if I wanted to have my chickens serviced by one of her roosters. She has two, both from TSC; a BR and an 'Asian Blue'.
I told her I wasn't interested in chicks right now; we have 12 chickens and I'm figuring I'd get chicks from the farmer kitty corner from me next spring.
Anyway, how would that work? I mean, I'd be worried about bio security, but wouldn't a rooster have to integrate himself into a flock before the hens would even let him start mating? and then what would that do to my flock once he went home? And I'd honestly have to feel bad for that rooster, going back and having to reestablish himself with his home flock and the other rooster, fter being away and the quarantines.

I'm not nearly an expert on roosters but with the quarantine and integrating, my opinion would be no. You're right, it would be very hard on them to integrate twice. Once getting in the new one, and once going back. The rooster's life would be much easier, but again, it's your decision.

The bio security alone is enough for me. I appreciate what my sister is offering, but I don't think I could risk having him bring something from my sister's flock, and then him bringing something back. Especially since we live a town over, so the soil isn't even going to be exactly the same.
