Rooster question

I was wondering is it normal for a rooster to chase a hen and do a rooster stomp thing they do towards them????

Yep very normal. The stomp thing, also the wing dance, are used by the roo in courtship and also to get the hen to do what he wants her to do, bring her back in line.
