rooster questions

I have 2 questions about roosters.
Do any of your roosters crow a lot more during the day when its overcast out?
And do any of your roosters whine at you when they're in the run and you don't let them out into the yard? Because my rooster just whined at me because he wanted to come out into the yard.

Doesn't matter what the weather is for mine. Mine tend to pile up in a scrum near the door waiting to get out and range. I don't know of, or can't hear any who are whining.
