Rooster refuses to sleep in coop!

Title says it all. My newest roo wont go into the coop at night (or at all really!) He has lots of lovely ladies to sleep with and he wont! If I put him in there at night he will stay. But he wont go in on his own and if its not pitch black out then he will come back out when put in. I dont get it! Any ideas to help me "train" him? We have a storm comming and I dont want him left in the cold!

My roosters, turkey, and a few pullets sleeps on top of the coop. The coop is inside a covered enclosed run, so I let them. I figure they are big boys and girls, and if it gets cold enough they know where the nice warm coop is, lol.
