I have 9 total in my flock ... 8 hens (RIR,SLW, EE, Buff and Silkie . I recently found that one of my 5 month olds (he's a Silkie) is a rooster . He's pretty laid back NON Aggressive this far & in fact he seems to fall into the lower end of the pecking order . What can I expect from the flock in regards to fertilizing eggs? Will my older girls and the younger ones accept him ? Thoughts ?
