Look closely at my Roo, FryerTuck's SPUR. Since last week he has been mysteriously missing ONE!

Honestly. . I and HennyPenelope, top Hen in the pecking order, are delighted as he seems to have neither injury nor suffering that caused his loss.

Our QUEST-ion is:
HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS HAPPEN SPONTANEOUSLY?

To my knowledge, spurs don't just fall off. He maybe caught it on something. They'll usually grow back. It's really not going to be an issue for him at all but he's so beautiful, were you going to show him or anything? Then it might matter.

No clue as to your question, but I am shamelessly stealing your hen's name, HennyPenelope! :love
You are sooo welcome... Here's the rest of her name story.
We named her HennyPenny but then a dear Friend, I was visiting in Hospice care, thought I said her name was "HennyPenelope". When Sandi exclaimed her pleasure as Penelope is her daughter's name we decided. . So be it!
Here she is with their Roo FryerTuck.
