Rooster stopped crowing

I know most folks worry due to their rooster making too much noise, but my guy hasn't crowed for the past two days. He is eating, active, purring to the girls, calling them to the treats, etc... just NO crowing. I was worried he might have a pumpkin seed stuck in his throat but he is eating and making noise. He is over a recent molt and looks wonderful - feathers and comb are beautiful! Any ideas??? I miss the racket!

All of mine did that a few months ago, they stopped crowing altogether in late summer, then two months later, just picked it right back up. I don't know why.

Mine quit crowing in the early fall. Didnt make sound for a bout 2 - 3 weeks. Then he sounded kind of raspy but is now back to normal. He seemed healthy in every other way. I wondered too "why" but i never got an answer.
