rooster tail feathers

i just recently got into raising chickens and my friend had 2 roos that were not getting along he gave me one of them that was getting beat up al the time his tail feathers are missing due to the fighting will they ever grow back

Im new as well...but I believe they will grow back. At least I hope so because I have 3 baby roos and the hens are the boss and have gotten one of them tail feathers down to like 3 feathers.....They have since stopped picking on him so im hoping it will grow back.
