Coincidence?

He hatched out on day 23 with his yolk not fully absorbed, and Mama didn't want anything to do with him. She took a huge poop in the carrier and left the chick alone, while she went outside with the 4 other chicks. I took the little guy inside, put him in a shoebox with a moist towel and in my heated bed. The yolk absorbed and he started to get fluffy and dry. I saved him form death!
Today he is 6 months old and a real sweetheart. His brothers had to go because of being aggressive and too flighty. But the one I saved is just right. I can pet him, pick him up, and hand feed him. He's LF too! Barnyard mix, light sussex and barred rock.

Awesome! Sounds like he was meant to be
