I have a 10yr old Silkie ""rooster "" that has swollen belly and his crop is completely empty like he hasn't eaten in a month. ( for over a week)He was still eating like he's starving but nothing seems to stay in his crop. He has a hard time getting around because his legs are spread so far apart due to his belly and he's very inactive. He's starting to eat very little now. I have no idea what to do because this is the first time I've seen this in a rooster. Every time I try to search for answers on line, the only thing that comes up is sour crop for HENS.
