One of my RIR turned out to be a rooster. I've never raised chickens before, so my question is how loud are they and if i have to rehome him, how do i go about that?

In my experience, RIR roosters have had deep, booming crowing voices. You might advertise him in Craigslist or ask at your local feed store. Understand that many interested people may want to eat him.
