Rooster?

these two white leghorns are the same age. I think the one on the right is a rooster. Am I right? we can't keep him if I am.

View attachment 1192715 More info as I see the pic isn't all that clear. The one on the left has no noticable comb at all and the other one has been growing one for a couple weeks. I'm also noticing that their legs look different.

I'm actually not sure... I raised 10 write leghorn chicks 2 years back, and one look just like your possible roo. It turned out to be a female, maybe that's the case with your chick?

The right one looks like a rooster, but you can’t be for sure until they are a few months older. I noticed that my chicken was a rooster when it started crowing at 3 months old.

Im thinking yes but all mine like that turned out to be. Honestly you can tell alot from personality too. Is that one cocky??

we will have had them 5 weeks this Friday and they were "day old" when we got them but they couldn't tell me exactly when they hatched. So coming up on 5 weeks.

My kids think he acts a bit bossy but this is our first experience with chickens and so we don't know a lot. I think they are paranoid as they don't want to get rid of any of them I haven't seen anything with that one that makes me think anything

GIve them some more time and then post new photos. White leghorns tend to have large combs (both sexes) but the female combs flop over then they are large.
