Hi, all! I’m new to this chicken raising thing. I love all of my flock, but am not wanting any roosters! I bought 15 (what I thought were) pullers about 16 weeks ago as day old chicks. We’ve had a suspicion about one. This morning I caught a video of the crowing, but have read that’s not a definitive answer to heb or rooster? Please help! I don’t wBt to re-home if it’s just a crowing hen! Thanks! The pictures are of him/her around 13-14 weeks of age.

He’s sweet, I just really don’t want chicks. I just want eggs. He is dominant, but I haven’t see. Aggressive behaviors. By girls are so sweet...they come to me & sit on my lap. Super spoiled here! But, I’d rather him have a home where he can do his rooster thing! Right?

:welcome :frow I agree male. If they were hatchery chicks either purchased from a hatchery or a feed/farm store, the hatcheries have a 90% guarantee of all females and if they sent extra chicks they were probably males (packing peanuts). I guess it's one way to get rid of the males.
I did buy them from a local mom & pop feed store...ordered specific types & picked them up minutes after arrival. He’s just bigger & stands taller. Supposed to be an Easter Egger.

Where do you live?

You won't get chicks just because you have a cockerel/rooster. You'll only get chicks if you allow one of your girls to hatch a clutch of eggs IF she goes broody or you could incubate.
As long as he remains non-aggressive, I'd keep him. They add a lot to a flock.
