I was giving a rooster and was told it is a Easter egger rooster but I’m new to raising chickens so I’m not sure. It is the black and white one up front.

You get close to him he starts to peck at your feet very protected over the hens

Not sure of age but he does crow

I'd nip that behavior in the bud. He shouldn't see humans as a threat to his flock. Ever.

How do you do that

how long have you had him? There's gonna be a fine line between what he's going to perceive as aggressive response and dominant response. I'd have to leave that to the experts, because the only rooster I had was not human aggressive at all, and didn't perceive humans or my dog as a threat.

I have him about 5 months. When I first got him he didn’t do it. Then when I added then hens 3 months ago he started doing it.
