Rooster?

My brown Rhode island red i know for sure is a rooster but the large white one is now in question. Our other white one is next to it for reference but I also saw it on the back of another hen.

Is it normal for him not to crow? That's mostly why we had no idea he was male.

If your Rhode Island Red boy is the dominant one, it would be pretty common for the light Brahma to take a more submissive role and not crow until he's much older.

Yes, it is normal. He just hasn't found his singing voice yet but, Oh He will and when he does...Look out!!!

Dominant pullets/hens will mount other pullets/hens. That behavior is normal. But, a rooster will sometimes become so agressive, they can tear up your girls. So, watch out for wounds and let us know.
