Rooster ????????

How old do my baby chicks have to be to tell if they are hens or roosters? They are 15 months old.

They are old enough, and if you do have a rooster it should of started crowing already. (depending on breed)

My cockerel is only 7 weeks old and is crowing so by that age you should be able to tell

15 Months or weeks or days?
At 15 months it would be easy for sure they would be laying or crowing at 15 Months.....

At 15 weeks it still would be easier for most People on the BYC.

At 15 days it might be a challenge but I am sure someone would know so post some pictures for us to see.

I order my birds from Mcmurray Hatchery. Had to get 25 to get the ones I wanted . I cant have roosters because neibors will complain.The extra one they sent Is the one I think Is a rooster. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow. Hopefully its not a rooster.

Oh Im bad sorry I ment to say 15 weeks. Its the rare chick of corce knowing I cant have roosters at all. This one looks like an eagle. realy skidish though.
