I have one "mature" rooster and only 3 hens. does constantly being mounted stress them or affected egg laying? one of my hens is starting to lose feathers from the rooster being on her so much. and i havnt gotten eggs in 10 days

Either get him more hens or separate them for a month or so.

Yes, if they are relentlessly mated, it can stress them to the point that they can stop laying.

I agree that you need more hens. Or one less rooster if you don't plan on hatching eggs.
