Is this a rooster and also any idea on breed?

First of all, I'm no expert. Hopefully someone else will back me up/correct me.

The dark one DOES have pretty a pretty large comb and waddles. But then again, it kind of looks like a female Black Sex Link to me.

I have pullets that look just like your red ones. I've heard a million names for them, but some are Production Red, Golden Comet, Red Sex Link. As far as I know, the males will not have that same coloring, so you should have pullets.

So MY guess is all pullets. If that blackish one IS a pullet, it looks pretty close to laying...

Good try. It's a boy but it looks either a too dark welsumer or more probably a partridge rock. same goes for the dark hen. Great summary for "red sex links" thats what the light colored pullets are. Usually the different names refer to a specific line or to the breeds used in making said line.
 
Thanks for the info everyone. We bought them at TSC around Easter. I am excited and really like them...think I've caught the chicken fever.
