Roosters behavior

I'm wonder do young rooster stick together or do they mix with the females? I have 11 chicks total there is a group of 4 that all stuck together for the most part. One I'm pretty sure is a rooster due to his comb and the others ar just bigger than the others. They are also hard if not impossible to catch. When they were in the brooder i could hold them with no trouble. my others i can pick up and they don't run from me. Is this rooster behavior? I know it's not a clear sign I'm just curious

Kind of? I have twelve, about 6 weeks, and I am pretty sure half are roosters, and about two weeks ago, I thought that what I am pretty sure are roosters, were kind of hanging together. But...this week not so much.
