Roosters "corner fetish"-- What's the deal???

If it is puring/clucking, shifting of his body around in a corner, he could be telling his "hens" that it is a good place to lay eggs.

I lean towards the male dealing with females suggestions, but in reality he is telling the girls that this is a good place to make a nest and lay their eggs. Most flock roosters will do this.

um, if one bird it pointing NW, and the other is pointing NE, is it possible they're pointing at the same place? where are you both located?

Yes I have 2 roosters and No hens and they do this daily several times a day and it's almost a part cluck purring sound like they are so happy. They have 2 favorite corners they use everyday. One rooster will be in the corner happy clucking and purring while the other rooster watches over him.
