roosters eating feathers

When my roos pick on the hens and pull their feathers out, they eat the feathers. What is that all about? Our coop is full of feathers. I never remember our roosters eating hen's feathers when I had chckens as a kid.

Generally eatting feathers means that they aren't getting enough protein. What are you feeding them?

A few of them are just nearing the 20 week mark so I still had them on chick grower . In anticipation of the hens starting to lay, I picked up some laying mash today. Should I supplement with something?
