I have 2 bantam roosters that I am trying to get rid of. They are both super sweet, docile birds so I don’t want to kill them, but now I have a problem. I came to the coop this morning to them fighting in the run and one of them with a bloody comb. I separated them and one is in a laundry basket that has been flipped over to keep him contained. I have a garden area that isn’t being used this time of year that is fully enclosed, but not fully predator proof. It is attached to the bantam run. I could put one of them in there but then you have to problem of cold and lack of shelter, as it is supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow. I can’t put him in the house, and the garage is occupied with baby chicks at the moment. Someone is interested in taking one of the boys, so I’ll see if she wants one today.
Thanks for the help!

I just put one into the garden area with 3 girls and put a tarp over half of it to keep it from raining on them. I don’t know what to do about nighttime and keeping them from getting cold. Does anyone have any ideas?
