I have a hen that will not leave the coop when I let the chickens loose to forage. Do I separate her or star cull my roosters

She is becoming really lethargic, I'm going to buy a 6 chicken hutch

I will have her separated soon, everything else looks normal, eating and drinking when alone

4 roosters got only 10 hens at breeding age, others won't be ready for a couple months, got 40 chickens all together, may have more rooster when 3 month olds get bigger, don't know how to tell now. My coup is a 30by10 foot run with a 10 by 10 coup. Just bought smaller coup to separate hens

Besides getting rid of some roosters, you may want to either thin your flock more or increase your coop size. The recommended coop space for chickens is 4 square feet per bird and run space is 10 square feet per bird. With a 10x10 coop and 30x10 run, you should really have no more than 25 birds. Anymore than that and problems are likely to arise sooner or later.
