Roosters or Hens?

Won't that mess with the eggs? Plus I cant have a bunch of chicks. I dont have enough space for more chickens.
No. Eggs are totally fine unless a hen goes "broody" and tries to hatch them. Just gather all the eggs everyday and don't let them try to hatch any out.

If you don’t incubate them, then no. It is just like any other egg.
Oh thats cool. I didn't know that! I have learned so much through this journey that I knew nothing about. This whole backyard chicken experience has been so informative and fascinating. Now what if in the future I move to a more spacious lot or extend the run. Will the chickens hatch their own eggs if I leave them in the coop with them? I live in florida so it stays on average around 80° inside the coop. And 75° outside the coop.
