Roosters spurs won’t quit bleeding help

recently remover my roosters old spurs to expose the new,their we’re getting long so I used They potatoe method and this morning he is still bleeding,any suggestions,or is it no big deal.

Blood Stop Powder from TSC or ordered from Jefferslivestock.com will stop the bleeding.
I've used it after removing spurs. The powder came in real handy when I cut off the small spurs also.

If you have some cornstarch you can try using that. It will often help stop the bleeding.
You can also try turmeric powder if you have some in your spice cabinet.

Put a little cornstarch or flour on the spurs to help stop the bleeding. If he is outside where it's hot and he is active, bring him in where it's cooler and limit his activity for a few hours.

Makes sure he is drinking.

Put flour on his spurs and he is drinking and caring normal.Is this life threatening?I don’t think so seeing as I have seen tons of how to videos.

I very much doubt it's life threatening, he'd have to bleed a lot. I've had them lose entire spurs down to the base and do fine. If the blood is only coming from a small area around the base of the spur then putting pressure on it for 5- 10 minutes may get it to stop also.
