Rooster's tail feathers are falling out

Why would my Silver laced Wyandotte rooster's tail feathers be falling out? I found some of them under the roost when I was cleaning. It has been gradual, but now there isn't really anything left. He has such pretty tail feathers, I hope they will grow back.

He is probably molting. One of my roos has lost his long tail feathers too and his other feathers are looking thinner than usual, but hi is starting to sprout some new feathers. Another roo just seemed to start loosing his. Fall is a pretty typically time for chickens to molt.
