I noticed blood in the coop that was under the roosting bar but it was not in the droppings at all. Upon inspection last night my Bantam Cochin Roosters toe is the culprit. It is due to rain here today so I picked him up and brought him into a dog cage in my garage and noticed that one of his toes is like bend backwards and might be falling off? I had no time this morning and the bleeding has stopped so I need to know what I should do when I get home? Should I soak it? It appears to be dried blood that is caked up and maybe why it's no longer bleeding, should I let the toe fall off? Any advice I would appreciate.
