Hello everyone! I need some advice, I have two 1 year old roosters I need to give away. Obviously I dont want to kill them I want to give them away to a newer better home. I need to get rid of them because I got new chicks but one of them turned out to be a roo while the rest are hens. I know that the two roos wont get a long with the new roo plus the hens are terrified of them. I'm not sure where to give them away, I live in NH so if your interested you could have the roos for free. The two roos grew up together so they get along if you wanted the pair. Thank you in advanced for the advice!

Many feed mills/stores have a notice board. Might be worth a try.

Hate to put a damper on things but, there is a serious glut of roosters looking for homes. You can't be really sure why people are taking them. Sometimes the best they get is to be humanely processed for someone's dinner. There are worse reasons people take them , that we don't mention on BYC. The ones that truly get a good, forever home could be counted on one hand.
