I have a new Bantam Hamburg rooster I have a chance to add a pair of seabrights and a Belgian D'Unccle rooster to my flock of 3 hens and 1 rooster do you tghink I will have problems with that many roosters?

Mabye, but be careful, 3 roosters to 12 hens was pretty hard on my hens and they lose alot of feathers.

That is way too many Roosters for your 3 hens! Poor hens won't have a chance.

1 rooster to every 7 hens is a pretty good number

dont go less hens or more roos then that



another option is PRO RATA

that is letting out 1 roo only per day

only problem is with that is you dont know who the father of the chicks are

but a good idea if you have roos of the same breed


me i have 1 rooster to 15 hens and they are all fertile he does his job well and the hens dont get stressed
