Roosting at night

when the heat of the summer came, mine started roosting on top of their coop which is insulated 'cause of harsh winters. So I took the roof off and put a pallet on top, now they roost on the pallet boards their droppings drop on the floor of pine shavings, easy
clean up.:)

Is coop in a solid roofed(weather proof) predator proof run?
Would love to see some pics!

My coop sits inside of the chicken run, which has four sides of chicken wire. The top is bird netting with cattle panels and shade cloth. The coop sits on the south side of run.
