Rose and Pea Combs Who's Dominant Over Who ?

acording to Grant Brereton of the UK,if both parents are pure, all the offspring will have rose combs, but the F1's will not all breed true.

I know that, however, many do have single combs. About one in every five hatchery Wyandottes seems to have one. I had a single combed Wyandotte myself. They have Cochin ancestry and the singles sometimes come out. It's actually quite common, whether it's proper or not.

Correct Wyandottes can not have single combs.

Yep, Their standard calls for only Rose Combs, but like Cynthia said, single combed ones do pop up on occation, but these would be DQs if the bird was shown.

You see it a lot in Blue Laced Red Wyandottes when they star breeding in the Single Combed Rhode Island Reds.
