Rotating crops in the back yard garden

I would leave the plant right where it is. As long as it is healthy and producing, why mess with a good thing.
Maybe, I would plant some companion plants around it to help with the bug and disease control.

Watch it for signs of infestation, sickness or nutrient deficiency.

Is it an heirloom variety? If so, I would save some seed for replanting, those are genetics that you will want to save.

I thought about it and decided to go ahead and rotate them. Some could use more space between them and I wanted to better organize from bell to hot. Hopefully they make it, if not we will plant fresh in the spring but the layout will be good. They should get more sun in the new location too. I have read that peppers and eggplant like the same conditions, so hopefully we will get some eggplants this year, last year they got too much shade from other plants I think.

We also discovered some self sown baby potato plants, since one was coming up in the pepper patch I dug it up, sure enough it had started tiny potatoes.

In our winter garden, close to the house for mom, we have things like onions, garlic, peas, kale, broccoli etc. We planted the onions and garlic at the end of October, 3 kinds of garlic. 2 are organic ones that we paid $$$ for from the feed store. The other kind was from the big $3 bag at Costco (Gilroy Garlic) Guess which one is up and 6" tall, yup the Costco ones. Wonder which will be the best when we harvest?
