Rouen Drake/Hen Ratio

Ooops! Sorry I missed this one.

General rule of thumb with domestic ducks is one boy to three or more girls.

There are cases of pairs and trios working. I have a trio of buffs in addition to my flock of runners and one buff girls.

Let me take a look at that link. Uh oh. Gone.

Sorry the link must have gone bad. It is a 92"x24" coop, with a 40"x24" upstairs.

Nope! those are not worth your money or your time, flimsy and no good for a larger breed duck anyways(like Rouen) Can you build? if not sheds, even doghouses with secure pens are a better route.

As Amiga said, 3-4 ducks per is standard rule of thumb, always exceptions but the bigger birds do best with more in my opinion/experience.

Thanks for the heads up, i was almost going to sink $200 or more into that! Can you give me a link to a sturdy duck coop?
