at what age does rouen ducks start to lay

Rouens are bred to be meat birds and as such are rather poor layers -anywhere from 35-150 eggs a year (according to Holderread). But like all ducks the females will start laying eggs when they reach maturity at around four to six months. It's possible that they won't lay at all (or as much) during the winter, so keep that in mind. Good luck!
