Our ducks are kept in a duck house from dusk to dawn but they roam our yard freely the rest of the day. As time passes, they have been eating less and less store bought food and spend their days mostly foraging through our yard and gardens. They are down to roughly 1-2 cups of food a day (3 ducks). Most days its only a cup.
My question is: Our Rouen just started to lay, and our Welshie should be laying within the next few weeks. Should I offer them oyster shell or are they getting enough nutrients that a wild duck would get? Thanks in advance for any help!
